History of the Fund

25 years of successful development and business support in Kyrgyzstan.

2000

The Financial Fund "Bai Tushum" (hereinafter - the Fund) was established by two non-governmental organizations: the American organization ACDI/VOCA and the Swiss organization CARITAS. In October 2000, the Fund was officially registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic;

February 2003

Received a Certificate of registration for a Microcredit Agency from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, registration number №10 dated February 14, 2003;

December 2005

The Fund established a subsidiary, the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" Microcredit Company LLC, which was later transformed into "Bai-Tushum" Bank;

2014

The Swiss non-governmental organization CARITAS withdrew from the list of founders. The Fund underwent re-registration, carried out a rebranding, changed its name to MCA Financial Fund "BT Innovations," and began to position itself as a Fund that not only provides loans but also offers financing to SMEs through investment loans, financial leasing, and participation in equity financing.

2014-2016

The Fund, together with its founder ACDI/VOCA, implemented the "Women's Leadership in Small and Medium Enterprises" (WLSME) Project with the financial assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID);

2017

The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF), under its credit product "Financing of leasing operations through microfinance organizations," approved the first credit line for the "BT Innovations" Fund in the amount of 70 million som. The Fund became the first microfinance organization to cooperate with the RKDF.

2019

The Fund established the subsidiary company "BT Capital" LLC to develop leasing services. In 2025, "BT Capital" LLC changed its name to "BT Leasing" LLC and obtained a license from the Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic;

March 2025

After many years of fruitful cooperation, they withdrew from the shareholders of "Bai-Tushum" Bank OJSC;

July 2025

Фонд, в партнерстве с ОФ МКА «Агрокредит Плюс» и ОсОО «Нулевые Выбросы», учредил ОсОО «Чистый Выбор» – совместный проект по

внедрению и масштабированию технологий тепловых насосов в Кыргызской Республике.
