On July 17, 2026, the final event summarizing the results of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) project "Development of the Heat Pump Market in Kyrgyzstan: Results, Knowledge Sharing, and Lessons Learned" took place in Bishkek within the framework of the "Green Economy and Sustainable Private Sector Development" program.
One of the key events of the gathering was the signing of Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation within the framework of a pilot project to introduce a heat pump rental business model through LLC "Chistyi Vybor".
The memorandum was signed by Judith Blank, Deputy Country Director of GIZ in the Kyrgyz Republic; Gulnara Arymkulova, Chairperson of the Board of PF MCA Financial Fund "BT Innovations"; and Elbek Nasyrov, Director of the Public Fund "Microcredit Agency 'Agrocredit Plus'".
The cooperation is aimed at developing affordable financial solutions for the introduction of modern, environmentally friendly heating technologies and expanding the possibilities of using heat pumps in Kyrgyzstan.
The pilot project envisions developing a heat pump rental business model through LLC "Chistyi Vybor". This approach is designed to make energy-efficient solutions more accessible to consumers and contribute to the further development of the eco-friendly heating market in Kyrgyzstan.
For BT Innovations, participating in the project is an important step in developing financial instruments to support "green" technologies and sustainable private sector development.
The signing of the memorandum was another step toward strengthening cooperation among GIZ, financial institutions, and the private sector, as well as creating conditions for the promotion of modern and energy-efficient heating solutions.
